What do I owe if I withdraw or am dismissed?
Monthly tuition and monthly fees remain due through the final month of your last semester. Any unpaid annual-fee balance becomes due immediately when your withdrawal or dismissal takes effect.
When does my withdrawal take effect?
If you submit a withdrawal request, your withdrawal takes effect at the end of the academic term in which you submit it. Submitting the request does not immediately end enrollment or payments.
Stopping attendance, becoming inactive, or losing platform access does not count as a withdrawal request.
Which charges will I still owe?| Type of charge | What happens when you leave |
|---|---|
| Monthly tuition and monthly fees | Due through the final month of the semester in which you submit your withdrawal request. If dismissed, due through the final month of the semester term in which dismissal takes effect. |
| Annual fees paid in installments | The entire unpaid annual-fee balance becomes due on your effective withdrawal or dismissal date. |
| Outstanding balances | Remain payable after you leave. |
| Monthly tuition and monthly fees for subsequent terms | No longer owed. This does not cancel installments toward annual fees. |
A payment plan spreads an existing obligation into installments. It does not make tuition or fees refundable.
Example: withdrawing during the summer
If you submit your withdrawal request on July 1 and the semester ends August 21, you still owe your required August monthly tuition and fees after applicable financial aid. This includes an August payment scheduled after August 21.
Any unpaid annual-fee balance becomes due on August 21.
What happens if I leave with an unpaid balance?Outstanding amounts remain due. The College may place account or service holds and pursue lawful collection activity. Amounts already paid remain subject to the no-refund policy.
