No. Queens College of Theology (QCT) is not affiliated with Queens University, Queens College (CUNY), or any other institution using the name “Queens” in the United States or internationally.

We are an independent institution with our own governance, leadership, academic programs, policies, and mission.

Why the Name “Queens”?

Queens College of Theology was founded in what is known as the Queen City, in Charlotte, NC. Our name reflects our geographic and cultural roots, not any connection to another college or university.

Many institutions across the country use the word “Queens” in their name because it is tied to geographic locations (such as the borough of Queens in New York) or historical titles. However, shared naming does not indicate shared ownership, partnership, accreditation, administration, or academic relationship.

If you are researching our programs, requesting transcripts, or verifying credentials, please ensure you are contacting Queens College of Theology directly.

If you have any questions about our institutional identity, governance, or academic programs, our admissions team is happy to assist.
