How do I request a transfer-credit evaluation?
You may request a transfer-credit evaluation after you are accepted into Queens College of Theology and before you begin your studies. You do not need to be actively enrolled in a QCT course or have paid your initial enrollment fees to request the evaluation.
Before submitting your request: Requesting an evaluation commits you to paying for all credits QCT approves, up to your program’s transfer limit. You cannot choose a smaller number of approved credits to reduce the bill. QCT will disclose the applicable per-credit rate and maximum potential charge before you submit the request.
How to request your evaluation
- Complete the College’s transfer-credit evaluation form. Review the financial acknowledgment before submitting it.
- Arrange for official transcripts from all prior institutions. The issuing institution must send them directly to transcripts@queenstheology.org or through Parchment. For credit evaluations, we only accept official transcripts from the sending institution. We do not accept copies of the transcript provided by the student.
- Provide course information when needed. Course descriptions, syllabi, and course objectives help establish whether your prior coursework matches QCT requirements. Your advisor will let you know if the registrar needs this information.
- Complete any required international evaluation. International coursework must be evaluated by World Education Services (WES) or the Association of Christian Education before QCT considers it for transfer.
- Review the completed evaluation and invoice. They will identify the approved credits and total charge.
How long does the evaluation take?
Evaluations typically take approximately 10 business days after the required records and documentation are received. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed completion date.
What happens after the evaluation?
You must pay transfer-credit charges in full before beginning studies. Credits are posted only after full payment is received and the Registrar or an administrator approves posting.
Admission and an external credential evaluation do not guarantee transfer approval. QCT reviews the academic level, grades, course equivalency, and applicability to your degree.
