Can I request transfer credit after starting at QCT?

Generally, transfer-credit requests must be submitted before you begin studies at QCT. A later request is permitted only when the credits being evaluated were conferred by the issuing institution after you enrolled at QCT.

What qualifies for the exception?

The timing of the credit award matters. Credits conferred before you enrolled at QCT do not become eligible for a later request simply because you obtain a transcript afterward.

The exception applies to credits conferred after your QCT enrollment. It allows QCT to consider the request but does not guarantee approval.

Do the regular transfer requirements still apply?

Yes. Your coursework must meet the same requirements for verification, academic level, grades, course equivalency, and program transfer limits. Dissertation credits remain ineligible.

You must complete the transfer-credit evaluation form and arrange for official transcripts to be sent directly by the issuing institution. International coursework must meet the external evaluation requirement.

When is payment due?

You must pay the invoice in full by its stated due date. Approved credits will not be posted until full payment is received and posting is approved by the Registrar or an administrator.

The regular financial rules still apply: requesting the evaluation commits you to paying for all approved credits, and payment plans, institutional aid, award-based discounts, and discretionary adjustments are unavailable.
