What are the colleges beliefs?
Discover the core beliefs and vision that shape the mission of Queens College of Theology.
Overview
Queens College of Theology (QCT) stands firmly on the authority of Scripture as the foundation for faith, learning, and ministry. Our beliefs define who we are, and our vision directs how we serve. Together, they shape a community dedicated to preparing future Christian leaders to bring the Gospel to all people.
Our Beliefs
Queens College of Theology affirms the historic Christian faith as revealed in the Bible.
We believe in:
-
The Authority of Scripture: The Bible is the inspired Word of God and the ultimate source of truth for all matters of life and doctrine.
-
The Trinity: One God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
-
Jesus Christ: Fully divine and fully human, whose death and resurrection provide salvation by grace through faith alone.
-
Humanity: Created in God’s image and called into relationship with Him, though separated by sin and redeemed through Christ.
-
Salvation: A gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not earned by human works.
-
The Church: The body of believers called to proclaim the Gospel and serve as a witness of God’s love.
-
The Return of Christ: The promised physical return of Jesus, who will restore creation and complete God’s redemptive work.
These beliefs guide our theology, our teaching, and our community life. Every program, discussion, and decision at QCT flows from these convictions.
